In 1997, the FBI took a special interest in Louis Pearlman and his money, that seemed to come out of nowhere. Knowing about Pearlman's new interest in creating boybands, they decided to send  an undercover agent to keep an eye on the man.
The agent wasn't especially happy about this. 
And things got worse when *N Sync finally got it's break.
